Summary: Revisions to federal and state tax withholding tables impact select states and reflect in the April 1, 2021 benefit payments.

Full story: Here’s why you might notice a change in your next benefit payment: The federal and state tax withholding tables are adjusted each year with adjustments generally reflected in the April 1st benefit payments. The changes in the tax table impacts tax withholdings in several states and may result in a change (increase or decrease) to the net benefit payment received from the Fund.

We encourage participants to contact their tax or legal advisor to determine individual income tax withholding requirements.
